Like myBB has wiki.mybb.com (with a theme similar to that of the forum)...

I was wondering, if i wanted to copy my forum theme over to say media wiki, to achieve the effect of the wiki having the same theme as my forum, what would be the core files i need to achieve this.

As in, which templates, css layouts...

There is no magic file that will make MediaWiki look like your forum. Basically you have to use the same bits of HTML and CSS in your MediaWiki installation, or find a similiar skins. Furthermore, you should be asking for help at MediaWiki's community, not MyBB's.
