Is there any way to remove the word "Poll" from in front of thread subject?
Also is there a way to hide unanswered profile questions?

yourtheme >> Forum Display Templates >> forumdisplay_thread
Find and delete:
{$prefix}
That will also remove the "Moved" prefix though.
