.... on a front site not inside the forum?

I have a forum at www.mysite.com/forum but would like to list latest posts and started threads at my frontpage www.mysite.com/index.php .

Is there some code that can get me that from the database in anyway? Can you point me in some direction, please?

Well I do it on my homepage: http://www.drpoodle.com although it's my own personal code that extracts the data from the database.

If that is waht you want, then tell me and I will make the code MyBB compatible.

Well thanks DrPoodle. For me would be enough to get the mySQL statesment to extract the data from the database. That's all I would like to ge if possible.

I just can't get hang of the whole databse know. I can code the rest myself and get it to show on the page! That's not a problem. That would be great!
