i upgraded my website from MyBB 1.6.2 to MyBB 1.6.3,
when i try to edit a forum or category from admin area, it does not give me the drop-down menu.
but when i try to create a new category/forum, it accepts.

what could be the problem?

Probably missing jscripts folder. Upload ./admin/jscripts/ folders and files from the fresh MyBB download.

Uploaded . But it is still not working.

Something in your browser then, have you cleared your cache?? Try to use it in different browsers as well.

cache cleared...still the same problem.
i used on internet explorer, firefox and google chrome...still the same problem.
could this be on the files or settings somewhere?

Try re-installing it. There has to be an error with the javascript.

No, don't re-install it again.

Go to: ACP > Tools and Maintenance > File Verification > and Run.. > Does it show any file changed ?

Make sure you uploaded all the proper files for 1.6.3 in the proper places.

It is very easy and common to forget to upload the admin files in the right folder if you had renamed the admin folder for security reasons. If you changed your admin folder make sure you are uploading the files to the right admin folder.

Also I found to delet post function was not there. No delet button on the post page.
