Hi Folks

In the instructions for upgrade the "files changed since 1.6.2" list includes files in the "install" directory.

However - when originally installing myBB those instructions told us to delete the install directory after installation so I don't have one!

What do I do?

It doesn't matter, the changed files package includes all the installation files.

Just upload the new install directory. You can always remove it again once the upgrade is done.

Thanks AJS - so does that mean the upgrader script creates an install directory when it is run?

No, you have to upload the install directory (along with the other changed files). The upgrade script is inside the install directory. (mysite.com/forum/install/upgrade.php) so you can't start the upgrade until you upload ./install.
