So far I have researched and found out there is:

Google SEO

and

MyBB SEO

Which one is better and are there any other good ones? Which one do you all recommend and should I install both?
Is it true that Google SEO is compatible with 1.6.1 but it requires you to edit a function in function.php but it doesn't exist? I was just reading the reviews and a couple people are saying the function doesn't exist...
Google SEO by far. Install that one, only.

It's compatible with everything, I use it on my forum and it's fine.
Google SEO, not even a question. Hell, it should be in the package by default as far as I'm concerned
Thanks guys Smile

Whoa...how the hell do you install this thing? There's so much manual work to it...I'm afraid I might screw something up...
ok so nevermind, I installed it but I have a few questions:

Robots.txt and sitemap, what do I do for these? All I did was make the .htaccess file and make the changes in /inc/functions.php

Is there anything else I need to do for the sitemap/robots stuff?
Nevermind, I guess I just added the

http://yoursite/mybb/sitemap-index.xml

to my Google WebMasters place

I'm not sure if I should upload robots.txt because I don't know what permissions to set...
robots.txt already has the permissions inside the file.

This is how the file should be: http://gamingbay.org/robots.txt

There are some edits I did in there for my forum, but yeah.
Yeah my question is: What kind of edits should I make? I don't want to make a security concern for myself by not knowing what to put in it...

And a small suggestion: Why don't you use a theme like this?

http://mybb.rab7net.org/

It would look better...I just don't see a light blue color suits a gaming community...aren't gaming communities usually dark and such?
The default edits are okay. Unless you want to specifically block out another URL or Directory that you don't want indexed, then you're fine. You can't open up a security issue with robots.txt

Also, that's too dark. The current theme is already pretty dark, besides, all of my users like it so I think it's fine. I got it professionally designed o.o

Gaming communities are sterotyped as dark now? Unless the forum was called like 'dark forum' but the theme is light, I think our current theme is fine.
Thanks for the help.

About you theme, I think its way too 'light'. I mean, gaming forums are usually dark-themed am I wrong? I'm not trying to frustrate you in anyway here, just offering an opinion. Its the first time I've come across such a thing and just stating my opinion on the matter.
