Just check, IGNORE VERSION COMPATIBILITY and it would work.

Already checked that but still does not work properly; ie. most, if not all, images are missing

have you uploaded your images to proper directories? Your forum URL?

You mean dump all images to images folder???

Never mind, I've read xml file to figure out how to make it work properly

In the zip file there is a folder called "cmsbb". Copy that folder (the folder itself, not just the files within it) to the images folder of MyBB.
