Hello, so I created a new directory on my site http://computing-tech.com/dota/

But even though I chmod to 777, it still says 403 Forbidden.
How can I make it accessible?

Make a index.php on it..

Isn't it possible to just make it a download section.

What I'm trying to do is that the files in the folder are displayed and available for download.

There is a plugin called downloads section, but I don't think it's already been updated for 1.6.

But that's not the same, I wish to have it on a path without anything other than the files.

Do you see the error yourself or the 403 error shows to any other else ?

So I just need to add Options +Indexes to my htaccess file?

If you want it to list the files in the directory, yes.
