I've been researching bitwise operators and how to use them in PHP. I've had alot of trouble grasping the concept to, until I stumbled upon this tutorial: http://www.litfuel.net/tutorials/bitwise.htm

So for anyone having a hard time grasping Bitwise operators, check that out. Its an easy to understand and good tutorial.

I'm currently using them in a few client projects, and MyBB will be moving to them fully with 2.0
