You can either delete the install directory or create an empty file named lock and place it in the install folder

Usually I just put such things in an /Archive in the root/subroot directory of the subject directory or file, so I know where it came from and add a note to it explaining what the heck it was for.
Again, sorry about the bother, its just challenging sometimes just interpreting some of the directions for how to do some of these forum tasks (like upgrading).
But, think we are getting more familiar with the terminology and should be able to work with the simple forum admin/editing processes, thanks to help from the folks like you.
