I have a problem when users use the forgot password link. The new password is emailed but the users cannot login with the said password.
How to fix this?
Is this specific to a few users or is this happening with all the users?
Try creating a new test user and testing it on that user.
Lastly was this a MyBB board originally or did you merge from another board?
this is happening with all users who uses the forgot password link. I've tried it myself and the password that was given to me doesn't work. This was a fresh install of mybb about a week ago
You are using the password that's in the second email, right...?? Because two emails are sent when a password is reset.
