I merged our posts regarding the stats problem from the other thread to this one to keep things in one place.

Update about the stats problem:

The missing threads in the most replied was caused by the thread description plugin for 1.4.
I disabled the stats part of the plugin to get the stats working again. If you want to use the stats part of this plugin on MyBB v1.6 I suggest you get in touch with the author.

Talking of problems: The "merge" apparently reset the thread from 'solved' to 'not solved' and removed my 'best answer' mark. Bug or feature?

That was my fault. I was half asleep when I merged and instead of merging in to the old thread, I merged the old thread in to the new one, causing the old thread to disappear along with the best answer.
