How can I make it so when a thread is deleted it goes to the "Trash Can" board and isn't actually deleted off the board.

Never spotted that, was just searching for it but didn't find anything ;/
The normal search only returns plugins for 1.6, to find this one, one has to go here
http://mods.mybb.com/search and select "search all versions"

It is a 1.6 mod and works a little different.
If a thread or post is deleted it is really deleted and not moved to a trash can forum. But in admin cp you have an 'undo delete' section where you can view and restore deleted items. I use it on my board and like it.
