Okay, my first question is how to set up a SEO for mybb 1.6? I have read tutorials but it seems so complicated? Are there alternatives that are just as good?

My second question is how to upgrade to 1.6.3... I download the upgrade and just replace the files? I'm afraid to however, because i do not want to delete what i already have.

First I recommend turning the board to offline for upgrading. Then make a back up of your forum. After you replace the files, navigate to your /install folder. Delete the folder called lock. Now go to your forum url/install/upgrade.php to run the upgrader. Once that is done, go to the admin cp and hit the find updated templates.
