Hi,

My forum has been pretty ill recently, it's throwing errors in many directions, even though it has a fresh copy of MyBB 1.6.3 + no plugins installed.

Basically, it's a problem with the cookie settings, I've adjusted the settings.php to the correct cookie settings as shown in Matt's topic here: http://community.mybb.com/thread-74904.html

The site works for a bit, then eventually the settings revert back to what they were before...I've just tried to adjust them again, and now I can't get in at all, no matter what combinations of settings I try...I've deleted the settings.php file, browsed around as I've read that it will regenerate itself...it did, but with the old cookie settings..

Now I'm getting an error that looks like this, for modifying the cookie settings in settings.php...

I'm pretty struck on what to do as I've tried quite a lot to resolve the issue and I'm pretty experienced with MyBB.

Nevermind...sorted it out.

While you have it sorted out, I just wanted to verify that after making the changes in settings.php you also made the changes in admincp, otherwise they will just revert to the old settings anytime the settings.php file is regenrated.
