Hi friends i hosted my site as Www.dishunters.com but i saw some sites like me set their main domain to a page and link their index.php as button or link on that page while i asked they said it will reduce the sever load my making people some seconds late my question is i'm also want to do like that so what i want to do..?

Do you want a portal to show up first? Like http://gabbleforums.com/portal.php?

You can have that come up first by renaming your index.php to forum.php, and renaming your portal.php to index.php

Then you can easily add a link to your forum.php

Is that what you want to do?

Or just put the following into .htaccess:

DirectoryIndex portal.php index.php
