The option to only allow users with an invitation code to register. Kind of like how gmail invites work.
Sounds like a good idea. Haven't heard anything like it yet though.

Here is what I am thinking:
A user decides that they want to register, in order to register you have to enter your invitation code (this is different for every user.) In order to obtain an invitation code, you must either receive one from the Administrator or from somebody who already has access to the forums and has enough Invitations left in his/her account.
(Basically, the same thing as the GMail invitation system, but for MyBB)
