Full Version: Users cannot edit polls?

Can only administrators edit polls? That's odd.
Normally everyone with "can edit posts" permission can also edit polls.

Well, I have a poll at my tutorial on MyBB and I cannot edit that. Same as my forum, I as the admin can edit it, but not the members.
Looking at the code, it does seem that the poll starter can't edit his own poll, no.

Hmm, I guess there are reasons to it.
This could be a bug. I've reported it on the tracker:

It could be done on purpose, because what if the poll is edited and the answer changed? The votes will still be there and it will just mess stuff up, right?

No, I think this is intended, because it would be easy to manipulate the polls. It is not possible to check whether you correct a mistake or you change the answer to something different.
