I've uploaded all my files to FileZilla, and then I went to my site, and with the "/install" at the end, though I keep getting this error.

Check if the install folder has mode 755.

Can you access the apache/http error log? Can you post the last ~20 lines?
I'm new to this, so I'm not getting what your saying. I've extracted the mybb file, then moved the file to FileZilla, and waited a few minutes until it was finished. Then I went to my domain with the "install" behind it, though I got the error...
Are you running MyBB on a localhost or do you have hosting account somewhere?
I am using Byethost. I've created a sub domain, and a database as well.

Contact your host and make sure the domain and permissions are set up correctly. 404 means there is no file there. So it sounds like you've uploaded to the wrong place to me.
Edit: never mind about the 404 read that wrong.
