How do I add more buttons to this part of a thread?....

You can edit/add it in postbit template. Search for {$post['button_name']} <-- something like that and add your buttons using <img src="IMAGE_URL"> tag. Keep this in mind you've to add Complete or Correct image path, also you need to give its a URL to be use for that button using <a href="LINK"><img src="IMAGE_URL"></a>
