The office text editor is really unnecessary for my type of forum. I know that I can change the colour scheme etc, but I really just hate the thing and all the eye baggage it comes with. I just want your plain everyday reply text box. Can anyone tell me how I can achieve this without breaking my forum? I've been in editor themes/office 2007 but besides deleting the file I'm not really getting any where...

Do you mean you want to remove all the editor's functions? If so then you can do that in admincp >> Configuration >> Clickable Smilies and BB Code >> Clickable MyCode Editor >> Off

If you mean you want to change from the office editor style to the other editor style, go to your themes settings, and select a different style from the "Editor Style" setting.

The Office one isn't even enabled by default... the grey one is.
