So my host's MySQL databases only allow 1GB.

What happens if I hit that limit? (not saying I am even close to, but just in case XD)

I asked my host. They said I could "split" my databases or something. I don't quite get that...

You're going to need a better host for a bigger forum.

So if in a future I need to, I can simply move to another host and my forum keeps working like normal?

Once you reach that size, you probably won't be able to be on shared hosting for hitting other resource limits anyway.

Yeah, I honestly doubt you will hit that size, that's about 100k members.

1GB is around about 1million posts, so I doubt you'll need to worry for the time being.

I've got 15k members and over 1 millions posts and I am still under 1GB. not by much, but it is below.
