I want to give a user group permissions to change a users primary user group. But i want to limit the groups that can be selected. Any way to do that?

Can you be please more clear? Not getting what you mean.

Ok. I'll see if i can explain it more in detail.
I have a user group that i gave admin permissions to change users primary user group. But the system doesnt limit wich group a user can be moved in to. Ie. that user can be moved in to the admin group thus just making the user an admin.

Is there a way to limit the ammount of choises that specific group has?

Or is there a way to give moderators a way to promote users in mod cp?

Just create a new group, then click on options you find this
"Publicly Joinable Options"
under that check this box "Yes, users can freely join and leave this group"
If checked, then users can join the group freely, just make as many groups you want ans select if members can join or not!

Ok. Follow this step.

1). Go to ACP> Usergroup.
2). Add that user on same usergroup, if you dont want to add than add him in in additional usergroup.
3). now go to your usergroup and click in "options" and select "List User".

4). Select the user and make him group Leader.

and you are Done.
