I stumbled upon an odd happening here.

On my forums (I am using 1.6.3), at one point in a thread, the background image has a "break" in it. This also seems only to occur in Firefox (4.x), but not Internet Explorer (9.x). This break is usually Black, but I've seen it consist of the background image mis-aligned. Here's screenshots.

I'm guessing this break seems only to occur on long pages (as I've never seen it before). The break sometimes varies in size, even, but not by much. If I switch to another tab (like I did to write this thread), and then switch back to that page, the entire background is Black...

...and either scrolling either direction, or clicking somewhere on my desktop (to take focus away from Firefox) fixes it.

Does anyone know what this is? It only occurs for me in Firefox. It's not a huge/pressing issue as it's a smaller forum and long pages like that hardly occur, but alas.

Here's a link to the thread/post around where it happens at for me. If you scroll down a bit is where it occurs.

This could probably be a firefox bug. I can also only reproduce it in firefox and not in chrmoe or IE.

Also when you scroll up and down across the black bar it resizes which to me looks like a graphic glitch.

I found this of the firefox site, so you're not the only one.

Ah, bingo, word for word what I'm seeing. I guess there's little use worrying about it as a problem on my end with the forums (which is why I asked).
