So people, what methods are you using to keep bots away from your site?
They are really annoying, they consume all of my site's bandwidth. Everyday I get many of them. Imagine that they are about 20-30 online, the same time! They are all from the same IP range..
Block them, block their IP's? Do what!?

I hope this is the correct section to post this in...

Most people use this to stop spam registrations.

When you say bots, do you mean the spiders or the spammers?

They might be a search engine trying to index your content. That's a good thing.

You can always use the akismet plugin that comes by default with MyBB.
