Hi,

At the moment, quotes count towards the character limit in posts, I would like to disable this so quotes don't add to the character limit. This is because my site has a minimum character limit and people (sometimes) try to abuse this by inserting quotes, and then just writing one word in the reply.

So, how can I stop quotes adding to the users' character count?

I don't have access to the code at the moment and I can't tell you off head.
When I get the chance to look at the source and someone hasn't updated here by then I'll let you know what to edit.
