i have a just installed the mybb forum and i was wondering if there is any documentation that is there that can help me to configure my portal the right way please

actually i m looking for how can be able to configure which content will be visible on my portal page and how can i go about doing all that
Its very easy, the portal uses a Forum ID to pull the forum post from.
Again, login to your
Admin CP
Board Settings -> Change -> (Scroll Down) Portal Settings -> Forum ID to pull announcements from
The Forum ID will be the forum that want people to see the content on your portal, for e.g maybe you want the Annoucement posts to be seen on the portal. So you made a forum named Annoucement. Then find out the forum ID of it.
The forum ID can be found easily, for e.g, MyBB Board's annoucement board's link is here..

So the Forum ID is actually 2.
So input 2 into '
Forum ID To pull annoucements from' and made a new thread there, and the thread will appear at your Portal.

Its possible to start a review website like this, either you can post your reviews in the same forum(the same forum ID) or you can make different boards to post your reviews, e.g
Forum 1 --> Mobile Phone
Forum 2 --> Pocket PCs
However, to pull news from 2 different Forum Board(2 Forum IDs), you have to do some little modifications, look
