I'm merging from phpBB 3 to MyBB and I can't get past the first step.
I keep getting the following error:

•The phpBB 3 database could not be found in 'lifescir_db'. Please ensure phpBB 3 exists at this database and with this table prefix.
Once the above are corrected, continue with the conversion.
I know that it's there though. How do I fix this?
The table prefix used for your phpBB3 installation is the default one of phpbb_?
Nevermind. I just figured it out.
Can I delete my phpBB installtion completely? Or do I need to keep it?

May as well have a backup of it in case something goes wrong.
Oh I have a backup of it, I meant the phpBB directory via my ftp program.

As long as you have a backup of your attachments and such as well, yes.

If you don't mind, can you elaborate a bit on what was wrong? It might help those that have a similar problem and do a search in the future.
