but when i posted a thread it didnt show it in the news
It is actually fetching the posts in the forums selected for Portal.
Go to: ACP > Configurations > Portal Settings > and Enter forum IDs (separated with commas) in "Forum ID to pull announcements from" option field.

Open plugin file and find;

and Change it into;
<div style="color: #000000;">'.$news.'</div>
You can specify your own color in color: #000000; attribute.
