is there a mybb merge 1.4
so i can downgrade from 1.6 to 1.4 thanks

Though its not recommended to downgrade your 1.6.x to 1.4.x , but here is a tip for downgrading;


Here I'll give you some important points on how to downgrade your MyBB.

1- Make database backup of your entire MyBB 1.6.x forum via FTP.
2- Download a fresh copy of MyBB 1.4.x from HERE
3- Now copy this .zip archive and extract into your forum's root.
4- Download MyBB Merge System from here: http://www.mybb.com/downloads/merge-system
5- Now run mybb merge system installer.
6- Now import your MyBB 1.6.x forum's sql database into phpmyadmin.

--- DONE!

Why do you want to downgrade? 1.4 support will end soon.
If you have any trouble with 1.6 post them. We might be able to resolve them.

yer i brought a plugin my proxy killer and alot more
but they only surport 1.4

You can edit Plugin's compatibility to work it with your MyBB 1.6.x

If they only support 1.4, don't buy from them

Open the plugin file in /inc/plugins/ folder and change the compatibility line to "16*" . 9 out of 10 chances are that it works.

I heard somewhere that most of mybbcentral's plugins are still working in 1.6.x , so you just try to edit its compatibility and see if it works. You are also allowed to post your questions at mybbcentral.com to ask edits for this plugin.

With what? Downgrading MyBB or fixing issues with the plugin?
If you have purchased the plugin with MyBB Central, you should ask them for support. If they don't want to fix compatibility with the newest version of MyBB, ask your money back.
