That's a default feature of MyBB.
Are you using a non-default theme?
Make sure that this is in your 'usercp' template:

{$latest_threads}

Or revert the 'usercp'-template to the default if you don't know where to put it.

In User Control Panel Template > usercp , add the {$latest_threads} just Below the {$latest_subscribed} like this;

Then you are using a 1.4.x theme. Install a 1.6.x compatible theme.
