You need to paste the analytics code in your footer template.
AdminCP > Templates & Style > Templates > Your theme's templates > Footer templates > Footer. Smile

Oh. Well I'll see if it works the other way first, OK?
The manual template insertion didnt seem accurate so i am trying that plugin instead
