This is not really something directly related to the forums, but is there any chance that you guys can release an independent post parser.
independent being not tangled with all the the entire forum library. i say this because i'm using a specific forum to publish news on my main site, and it's working well so far, except to do this, i pretty much have to include the entire forum library just to class the postify function.
