Not really. The Like button at least loads fast.

FB like, doesn't help in SEO, only in facebook

Ummm..not really. It's bumping up pages on your site. You would have to get 100's of "likes" on your homepage for it to actually help seo.

The button is OK

It works perfectly for me. Just a point of note: Where you have {lang: 'en-US'} you can change this to another language if your Forum language isn't American English. I've changed mine to British English (the original & best - ha ha!): {lang: 'en-GB'}

Try using the secure version of the code in your HEAD tag or just before your CLOSE BODY tag:

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js">{lang: 'en-GB'}</script>

See if that helps.
