I have a question.

I renamed my admin folder and also i also renamed it in the config.php in the inc so everything works fine. i downloaded the plugin the honeypot thing which gives you a fake admin directory to prevent hackers. Its named 'admin'

if i upload something to the root of my forum it will go to the real admin directory right? not the fake one named 'admin' right???

Let's say you upload a plugin that copies new files into the admin-folder, it will go into the fake one. You will have to manually copy the files into your real admin directory.

I guess you could rename the admin directory to the real name before uploading it, which would save you the trouble of uploading each file separately. Not much else you can do though.

You can rename the folder that comes in the zip file from admin to your real admin folder. Easy fix. That is how I do it.
