I'm a newbie, just to prevent spam I want to disable all BBCODE [URL] from postings as well as signature and also from profiles and everywhere. How can I do it?

For disabling signatures you can use this:

For links:

Ok I've now installed(deny clickable links) : http://mods.mybb.com/view/no-links-allowed
I've also created two MyCodes (nofollow & dofollow): http://community.mybb.com/thread-81141.html

Any conflicts issues arising due to these?
Also whether the deny clickable links plugin will work for both -- posts as well as signature links?

If you disable signatures you don't have to worry about links on it (Than is whats you asked for...).

No I don't want to disable signatures completely. I will allow the users to have their signatures.

You can disable BBCode on signatures and still allow IMG code, will that work for you?

You can also allow signatures until a post count, so valuable members can use links if they have like 10 or whatever number you like of posts.

Sama34 are you joking? Did you read the license agreement of the second link? Also second link is from outside of mybb hence unrecomended by mybb community.

Godsake somebody tell me how to disable BBCODE URL in the postings.

This will block every thing that is considered a URL in MyBB. If MyBB would create a clickable link for it, it blocks it. Including all varieties of the URL-tag.

Disabling URLs and images is coming in the next release as part of the "Can post links" and "Can post images" permission.

I don't find anything wrong with the license, "do whatever you like to do with this plugin".

And there is not rule stopping us from sharing plugins outside mybb (free or paid).

Maybe I don't know something about MyBBHacks I'm suppose to now for next time.
