Where in the Admin CP can I see the amount of unique visitors in my site.

You can't. There's a nice graph under Admin CP > Tools & Maintenance > Statistics, but nothing related to unique visitors. You'll need some kind of plugin or PHP script to do that.

Do you know any?

This one seems to works pretty nicely. You simply create the file and include it in index.php.

Use Google Analytics.

You could check Awstats in your website cpanel if you have it.

I'm creating a Hit Counter plugin where you can view Unique and Total hits counts. Its still in testing phase though. Here is what I've done so far;

You're missing the most important thing: the number of total unique visitors. For example "Total Unique Hits: 73839".

Google Analytics is really accurate and has a lot of information about your visitors. You can also see which thread is more popular and so on.
