Overnight, quite a few posts from several different members were lost. They were not deleted. No clue where they went to. They're just gone.
I'm not even sure how to go about solving this problem...any ideas?
Do you have other moderators and admins on your website?
You could check the Moderator Log in ACP > Tools & Maintenance > Moderator Log to see which posts were delete recently.

The forum can't run code to delete posts by itself... what plugins do you have??
NewPoints and MyAchievements...and one which allows for custom profile fields.
No plugins that pertain to posting, modding or anything of the sort.
Would the server itself be to blame for a problem like this?
Maybe your host reverted the server to a previous backup.
Yeah I was going to suggest that, there have been people who have had their forum reverted to a backup by their hosts, and haven't been told about it. MyBB itself isn't going to delete posts itself.

Thanks for the help...that would at least explain the random loss of a few posts ^^;
