i really dont get how you edit the portal. i dont want threads to show up or anything. my portal is blank right now other than a bunch of stats on the left. but how can i add like text boxes to put announcements and stuff.

ACP > Configurations > Portal settings > and enter Forum ID in the option field to pull announcements from. If that field is empty then there will be o announcement to show on portal. Also make sure that its forum ID is valid.
