Lately, I am getting this error a lot.

At first, I asked host why -> they told me I have errors in htaccess/PHP files, I checked and it were all OK.

But, now I checked the error_log file and it says this:

Could it be cause they limited something in PHP so it's out of memory all the time?

Your host needs to increase the max_user_connections setting.

Thank you faviouz, is that all that is needed? Because my host keeps telling me I reach high CPU all the time.

I have about 150 visitors each 60 minutes. (Result from past 60 minutes who's online)

They might come back to you saying MyBB is stuck in a loop or isn't closing all of its connections, but as far as I know, that is not the case. However, now that I read the server error logs a bit more carefully, two plugins are mentioned. And these might be stuck in a loop or not closing all of its connections, causing the internal server error. The plugins are hide.php and reportrep.php, they should have a similar name in the Admin CP.

Try disabling those two plugins before contacting your web host, and see if that fixes it.

How do I disable them if the forum is not available?

Yes, I can access FTP.

Can you not access the Admin CP?

If not, then in your FTP, navigate to /inc/plugins/, find and delete the following files: hide.php, reportrep.php.

I removed the files and still nothing. The same error.

But I don't understand how would these plugins cause this when I have them for over 2 months and it was working fine until now?

And no, I can't access any part of the site. I get the same 500 error.

That's not a good way of doing it tbh.

In ./inc/init.php, find:

define("TIME_NOW", time()); 

Add after:

define("NO_PLUGINS", 1); 

It will disable your plugins so you can login to the ACP and permanently disable them. (Remove the line after you're done)
