Hi,

I'm trying to replace the GIFs in the UserCP sidebar with PNGs since there is a lot of artifacting with dark themes. Anyone know where I can have it look for PNG instead of GIF?

Modify the usercp.css stylesheet in your theme

MyBB uses the silk icons by famfamfam but they converted it to GIF for IE6 support. (I hope they drop IE6 in 2.0 to be able to use some new technologies though ). You'll need to manually rename the necessary icons and upload them in the appropriate folders in the images folder. And then, like euantor said, replace the extensions in your stylesheets from .gif to .png . There are also a lot of templates that need to be updated as well.
