even without reading the thread my opinion is "NO"
great guys work hard to get this system and at the end they release it for free to anyone. so the tiny thing we can do for them is keep the copyright stand where it's suppose to stand.

Removing the credits on a software or a theme? It's stupid imo.
What do you intent to set? That you're the developer of that? That every thing in the site is a result of your great genius? That's pathetic for Christ's sake
Keeping the credits it's a tribute to the work and time of others, and it helps as a reference for someone else too.

Do you remove the badges off your car and claim it as your own? Do you remove the labels off your food and clothin? No. So why remove a few links that allow others' software. There is no need.

I know for a fact it does actually contribute to a software's expansion, so I fully believe it's pretty much a crime to remove it. I'm even considering upping my own copyright removal fees because it's so useful :|
