I have a unique dilemma. I have in the past been banning members manually by simply adding them to the banned usergroup. My moderators use the ban dialogues and add members that way, when necessary. When I remove banned accounts, I go into to "List Users" for that group and delete them page by page.
What this does is leave a bunch of empty entries in the ban list. The ban list is now so full of empty entries that it's rather useless. Is there a way to purge this ban list or at least sync it up to who is really banned (ONLY users in banned usergroup)?

assuming that ban list is stored in database, the related table of database
needs to be optimized. (can be done from admin panel - if table is available)

Database optimization won't fix this. Truncating the table might fix it but might cause more problems to arise.
