I have tried and dont know how to get the NewPoints Store to work at all.

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1146 - Table 'xxxx.mybb_newpoints_shop_categories' doesn't exist
Query:
SELECT * FROM mybb_newpoints_shop_categories ORDER BY disporder ASC
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have placed all the files in the correct categories from the plugin, languages, etc.

any help on all would be appreciated.

Well the error is showing that MySQL is trying to retrieve a value that doesn't exist or, more likely, was deleted accidentally or never installed altogether. Are you sure you actually installed & activated the plugin correctly AFTER uploading everything CORRECTLY?
A lot of plugins will have issues if you install them incorrectly because when you uninstall them, most don't have checks to see if everything they were supposed to delete was deleted.
