Are users allowed to make money from mybb ?
I am a php coder ( my job 15 years )
And i would like to start making pluggings. And thought id ask be for i get going with it. The thing i don't get has well is the admin panel options. E.g i can make a plugging but adding it to the admin panel so user can edit.
Is it hard to make a pluggin with admin options ?
Also are we able to sell our work ?

P.s would it best to make a shop or a forum and get different type of users e.g vips and normal users. Vips pay a fee and can download vip plugging s and normal users can only download free plugging s
or would the shop be a better idea ?

you can make plug-ins and sell them - if users are interested then they buy

you can make a forum with premium users and ordinary users. you can actually
demonstrate the working of the plugins if you use myBB forum system. if you just
put your plugins on some other system with shopping cart then users may not be
interested in buying..

practice make us perfect. it might be difficult in the beginning, as you practice
it becomes easy. lets wait for experts' comments about adding options in ACP

You can sell plugins. Just like many other plugin developers here, you can start a Forum where you develop plugins for MyBB and introduce a subscription system for downloading those plugins.
A Forum will be a better idea because people get feedback from previous buyers of that plugin in a Forum by seeing replies to it. In a shop its not so effective.

Yeah! You need to pay $5 to be a subscriber there, to download that plugin.

is there any free ones ?
