I don't know why but it seems to work better than codepress for me. It still does syntax coloring but supports tab in editor as well.
I had suggested this a while ago but got no reply.

Oh! Sorry, honestly didn't care much 2 years ago Toungue.
Well at least people will notice this one.
Me and Kieran (Polarbear) both integrated CodeMirror into 1.6 as a replacement for Codepress but we found some shortcomings and decided it was best to leave it, rather than introduce something that was sub-standard again.

I see they've released some upgrades now though, so I'll see if those problems have been fixed.
Tomm, you can't be saying you'd add this to the 1.6 series, Big Grin!!!! This would be the best update in a long time :p
Why not add it into 1.6? Toungue

IIRC, the Team agreed that we should replace it for the series - just when it came down to it CodeMirror wasn't up to the high standard we were expecting. We'll see what comes out of my testing...
I'm glad to hear some interest in changing at least.
I love it. I say implement it.
Yes, please. Codepress is buggy and doesn't allow for tab indenting.
