Full Version: Exclude Header Message from Facebook

You should be able to see this even if you're not registered on Facebook.

Look for the post by "Outlaw Star UK". You'll see the text under the link that says: "Greetings, new person. Welcome to Outlaw Star UK. If you click the link on the post, you'll find that I edited the header "welcomeblock" for guests to display that message. Unfortunately, it will appear every time I post a link on Facebook. This time it actually works in my favour! It might encourage people to join the site. But I don't want that every time. Any way I can exclude that text and thus not have it show in Facebook?

I might not actually change it anyway, because previously when I linked to a thread on my forum on Facebook, it didn't show any text anyway. I'd just like to know for future reference, just in case, thanks. Smile

You can change how Facebook displays the shared links or likes on the FB wall, including the thumbnail. It should be compatible with 1.4
