Something I actually need for the site I'm developing is the ability for moderators to assign usergroups themselves without having to rely on the users to actually make a request.
Is there a way to do that with mybb?

To clarify, for my site, I need to be able to have my moderators assign usergroups to users at will, as a necessary second step after the users register and make a post or two. It there a way to do this in 1.6, or a mod available at least? I've been searching everywhere and have thus far had no luck...
A moderator isn't allowed to change a member's usergroup otherwise he will be able to make himself an admin, if you really need this then make your moderators admins (dangerous tho)
