So I made a new .txt document and included:

Quote:User-Agent: *
Disallow: /fourm/captcha.php
Disallow: /fourm/editpost.php
Disallow: /fourm/misc.php
Disallow: /fourm/modcp.php
Disallow: /fourm/moderation.php
Disallow: /fourm/newreply.php
Disallow: /fourm/newthread.php
Disallow: /fourm/printthread.php
Disallow: /fourm/private.php
Disallow: /fourm/ratethread.php
Disallow: /fourm/report.php
Disallow: /fourm/sendthread.php
Disallow: /fourm/task.php
Disallow: /fourm/usercp.php
Disallow: /fourm/usercp2.php

It would have been, for example, the first two disallowed lines:

Quote:Disallow: /captcha.php
Disallow: /editpost.php

But my personal mybb is like public_html/forum(then in here is all the things like admin, archive, inc, etc..)

So I edited the text content myself. Hopefully correctly.

My question is where do I put my robots.txt file and is it correct?

I read to put it in my root directory, but I'm not sure if that's in my public_html folder next to my forum folder, or in my forum folder.
It says /fourm/ instead of /forum/ ...

You can test your robots.txt in Google Webmaster Tools.

Yeah! And you should put the robots.txt file inside your forum folder.
