My forum is disabled and shows this error:

Make sure you have correct database type.
Search for $config['database']['type'] in inc/config.php and make sure you have a valid database type like mysqli.
@StefanT: I wonder why the wiki shows MyBB error (40) while the error shown by the forum is MyBB Error (44).
Perhaps the error codes were changed...
